We love nothing more than to see young hearts coming together in preparation for the biggest day of their lives. What a cool job we have to be able to capture the moments just before! And that’s exactly what we did for Kory + Jena at their engagement session. Not only was the session filled with sweet moments but it was simply an aesthetic dream. Who doesn’t love a good earthy color palette?!
There are so many places to go when taking photos in Boston, but one of our favorites is Fan Pier Park. It is gorgeous, just like this couple! Come on, look at them! Ricky + Morgan sure knew how to take advantage of the city and its beautiful charm! Especially when the weather is like this! Who said a little bit of fog couldn’t add a pop to engagement photos? You know those moments when you see a couple and you can immediately tell how happy they are to be together? They’re always laughing, smiling, and being goofy; unapologetically themselves. That couple is Dean + Hannah. Right from the moment you meet them, you can’t help but fall in love with their love (I mean… Dean picked Hannah a flower and placed it behind her ear mid-shoot... how stinking cute is that??) Honestly, meeting them wouldn’t even be necessary, for you can also tell from these photos alone! Can you say obsessed ‘cause we sure are!
Some people prefer more rural areas, while others love the city. Ryan + Charissa took on the city of Providence and absolutely crushed their engagement session! See how they used the city to their advantage below!
We’ll be the first to admit that we’re obsessed with Chase Farm… clearly. No matter the season you can place your bets that the MMC team will indeed be shooting there. For this session we have Ronald + Melanie. Both of which whom complimented the romantic late fall vibes perfectly! Take a look for yourself down below.
One note that we took from Mike + Rachel’s engagement is that we’d love every couple to be like them. A couple that you can laugh and joke around with is the best type of couple. You’re all having a good time and have developed a sense of friendship and trust. It makes shooting that much easier and the results that much more breathtaking.
It’s not often our couples reserve an entire public library for themselves for the sake of a session. Now that’s dedication to the vision! The said dedicated couple of the hour would be Jim + Manda. These two lovebirds shined amongst the marble pillars and bookshelves. Who knew that posing in an empty library would make it feel like you’re the only two people in the world.
Ever heard of sunrise sessions? Typically we shoot most of our engagements an hour before sunset to catch that beautiful glow of golden hour as the sun slowly dips below the horizon. But Jared + Jessica thought they’d do things differently and schedule an early morning sunrise shoot. An unorthodox choice but it makes for such dreamy photos. Early as it may have been these two came ready and brought all the energy and all the style. Because when we say wear neutral, this is exactly what we mean!
We’ll start this off by saying if you plan on having your engagement session in the coast, then we suggest you bring a sweater or two. Because let us tell you, Scott and Maggie were absolute troopers putting up with the cold that threatened to derail them on the 18th of April at Elephant Rock Beach. They came ready to go with their vintage like vibe and fun-loving energy. We’re absolutely obsessed with how the color palette went beautifully with or signature Art look! (We’re also absolutely obsessed with the couple and can’t wait for their big day.)
As much as we love the backdrops that mother nature offers us we sure do love a city engagement! Corey + Rebecca gave all they had and absolutely slayed the streets of Brooklyn.
Flash back to this ideal fall engagement shoot we did with Mitch + Dayna. If this doesn’t inspire every single orange leaf loving bone in your body we don’t know what will! These two absolutely killed this session with an outfit change and natural chemistry that carried them throughout the entire shoot! We had so much fun and just can’t wait for their wedding come this August.
We don’t like to play favorites here at Move Mountains Co. … but when a couple as lovely as Jordan + Lauren come along, things get a little dicey. In the best way possible of course! From the second we saw Jordans converse we were just overjoyed, knowing full well these two were going to be so much fun to work with. We’re no psychics but we were right on the money with that prediction. They took directions like champs with Lauren naturally working the camera and adding in her own twists, always keeping it interesting. At the end of it, it just felt like we were hanging with some friends who were giving us a tour of New Haven, CT while occasionally stopping to take pictures of them. Saying we can’t wait for their wedding would be an understatement.
Now, these two knew exactly what they wanted when it came to their engagement session. Their one objective was to serve and my oh my, did they execute. Lavender poofy dress, convertible, red bottoms, and Versace drinking glasses. Need we say more? Mike + Diana showcased not only their lavish looks but also their fun-loving and easy-going personalities by going with what we threw at them and making it their own all at once!
We’re always super excited when we get the chance to shoot one of our own team members with the one that they love the most. And that’s exactly what we had the pleasure of doing on Tuesday April 5th with Brady and Jamie. Everything about the low light sunset vibe that just had us going. A lighting situation like this makes for some lovely romantic photos that we were just so excited to slap our signature Art look on. And man did it feel right!
Sometimes some engagement shoots are just as exciting as full wedding galleries. This gallery sure is a perfect example of that scenario. Chris + Kaitlyn brought it to this session with their absolutely wonderful collective sense of style that just compliments each other. Doc Martins and all! Put them in front of a brick wall and a beautiful skyline and we’re golden.
We find something so special about couples that travel miles and miles away from their home state to be shot in New England. These two are a great example of that. On this windy March day we joined Sean + Taylor from Arizona in a little stroll across the Fan Pier Park we all know and love. No matter how many times we come back to this location it never fails to be a different experience all together. This session in particular is definitely one of our favorites so far!
On a chilly January day we took to Valley View Farm and joined Dom + Kelsey to shoot their engagement session. Snow, coats, fancy boots, and a green antique truck to top off the look! These two were in their element and absolutely killed this session.
Think engagement session but then make it stylish. Michael + Brianna strolled through the grassy terrain of The Farmer’s Daughter and posed in front of the camera as if they were naturals (we’re convinced they are.) Their fabulous winter wear complemented the scenery behind them so flawlessly we’re just lucky we got to capture it all!
We loved shooting Tim + Shaina so much. I mean when a couple works the camera this easily, who wouldn’t? We met up with Tim + Shaina at the beautiful Cliff walk in Newport and started shooting. They both fit so naturally amongst the water and sand-filled rocks, which made this entire session a breeze!

Exploring Boston with Brendan and Taylor for their engagement session was an absolute blast! From the iconic Public Garden to the chic elegance of The Newbury Hotel, every moment felt like pure magic. These two opted for our Deluxe package, combining photography and videography for their upcoming wedding at The Newbury Hotel, and we can’t wait to capture their big day in 2022!
