Park benches, through beautiful flowers, and sharing sweet moments on brick stairs, this couple truly knew how to capture the “love birds in Boston” dream! And effortlessly at that! Nothing like capturing a couple so in love that makes our job that much more meaningful.

We don’t often get out to Block Island for an engagement session but every now and then a couple is up for the adventure. The island is a great spot with plenty of variety to get stunning engagement photos especially with the epic Mohegan Bluffs!

It’s not often we shoot weddings on an Island but when we do it looks a little something like this. Bright bold colors, the sea, and a blue vintage Toyota Land Cruiser to match. Tom + Lauren really knew how to make their big day their own and we had the pleasure of being able to capture it all. Tying the knot with hundreds of sail boats passing by on the beautiful Block Island horizon was just one of the memorable details about this wedding. And there was something about both Tom and Lauren’s contagious smiles that had us delighted to be there and enjoy every second of shooting. We would take that ferry over and over again!

We knew from the moment we shot Nick + Brittany’s engagement session that they were meant to be in front of the camera. And we’ve been waiting (with much anticipation) for their big day ever since! Was this shot in Massachusetts or Heaven? We honestly can’t tell. We had the pleasure of shooting this dreamy summer engagement with Dan + Kelsey in Duxbury, MA. Getting to play with stunning natural elements such as a hazy fog makes for such a fun and experimental time thats more of an experience than anything else. An experience that this couple was more than happy to roll with and make their own. Serving fierceness from the field to the beach, nothing Dan + Kelsey couldn’t tackle, making for a beautiful gallery!

There was something that Jack + Lauren had in common with their cute pet dog; They were the absolute sweetest! Getting the chance to capture their free spirited and tender love was an absolute delight. From a lovely farm backdrop to a breathtaking overlook of Groton from atop Gibbet hill, there’s no scenery this couple couldn’t make their own, sowing in a little bit of their love story in every step they took.

Something about this homey elopement that makes our hearts absolutely flutter. We could feel the genuine love and pent up excitement in both Tom + Lauren. We got taken from a tight knit intimate ceremony to a reception of the same manor. We were greeted by a beautifully decorated and cozy home. Gathered by family and their favorite furry little friends we couldn’t think of a better way these two could’ve spent their big day.

What an easy day - Regatta Place makes getting great photos easy. Their bridal suite is clean and full of natural lighting so getting that light and bright look is a breeze. We headed to The Elms Mansion for the first look and some portraits. Another great spot if you are looking for very elegant photos. Theres a variety of spots all in one location which makes it very versatile and lends itself to allowing you to focus on the images and not have to location shot, which can sometimes be a time suck.
We headed back to Regatta Place for the ceremony - it tented on the end of a dock. All the aesthetics are cohesive amongst the venue which create a nice clean look. Tom + Meghan shared their vows to each other - it was funny to hear each of them echoing what the other had wrote, it really made you believe in true love and that some people are truly destined for one another.

We did Josh + Alexandria’s engagement photos (pre-pandemic) at Beavertail in Jamestown, RI - a great spot for engagement pics. Getting the opportunity to work with the couple prior to the wedding is a game changer. You already have a rapport and it’s like seeing an old friend, vs. just showing up having never met, I think this is really important.
If you ever wonder what it’s like to work with us, we have a very specific process on how we go about shooting the day. When we first arrive - we will check in on hair and make up, h/mu is something that we shoot very briefly once make up is complete. While the bride and her bridesmaids are getting ready we look for places to shoot the dress and all the details and Alexandria had a lot of them! This is a good thing, especially when it comes to video as it really adds a creative element.
Once we wrap with details we will go shoot groom prep (as long as it at the same location, if it’s not we recommend a separate photo/video team in order to capture it). For groom prep we have a very specific shot list that we want to capture and then we will get some of those candids of the boys ;)
The light for this day was magical, as you can see from the photos below. You don’t always get a perfect lighting scenario and overcast is always better than a bright sunny day, but Alexandria timed her ceremony to be just a few hours before sunset which allowed the sun to be going down while they said “I Do” but enough time after to get all their group shots, family photos and portraits.
There was never one point in the day where we felt rushed for time! Everything was accounted for as far as timing which really helps the day feel seamless. The couple chose to go with our Classic look, MMC1 - if you want something like this please reach out!

Let me tell you, these two fit each other like puzzle pieces. We loved shooting this lovely couple at the beautiful Newport Beach House. The whole day was filled with fun loving energy and fantastic aesthetics. Nothing gets our creativity flowing quite like a wedding days details! Take a look and you’ll know what we mean. Jon + Jen were a delight to work with and worked the camera like there was no tomorrow. After capturing their sweet ceremony we got nothing short of swept away to their beautiful reception and got to shoot some of those wonderful details we mentioned. After shooting Diana’s sister’s wedding in 2019 - we knew we had to shoot her and Jake’s wedding! This day was so much fun! Diana was such a joy to be around, she was so happy and truly knew how to cut loose and have fun at her wedding. Jake present of jewelry was thoughtful, but Diana really lit up when she opened a gift of new custom Nike Blazers.
The dance floor was lively as we partied to the sounds of Blink 182, The Killers and Yellowcard, it’s always a vibe when your couples love pop-punk and throw it back to the early 2000’s! This won’t be a wedding we will forget. Thank you so much to Jake + Diana for just making this day so much fun, it was such an honor and privilege to party with you guys!

Especially when the roaring winds are threatening the fortitude of the entire the thing. See some of Jamestown's Fort Wetherill's many gems in Domenic and Victoria's engagement session. I personally didn’t know this spot had some many nooks and crannies to explore. Definitely an intimate secluded location to get your engagement photos done. This couple went with our MM6 look which is a mix between a very traditional look and a more artsy feel.
The sky cleared up by the time we started the photoshoot and it turned into the most perfect night. The couple is high school sweethearts and went to prom together. We started the shoot on the rocks and ended it at the water. We also found the most adorable patch of flowers!

We had the pleasure of shooting again at Salt Water Farms in Stonington, CT. This intimate venue was the perfect setting for John and Chelsea’s vibe. They got ready at AirBNB and choose to do the first look on the grounds. After that we headed to the Mystic Seaport Bridge for a quick photo opp. One this I have to say about this wedding is the Urban Botanist created an absolutely stunning bouquet! Check out this fun engagement session we did with George + Nay at Nonquitt Beach in, Dartmouth, Ma! We absolutely adored shooting this couple they exuded so much joy and made this engagement shoot so much fun, it’s always a pleasure being able to meet a couple for the first time and immediately connect with them of the bat. We loved shooting at this beach with home many options it gave us, from the rocks to the water and not to even mention to outfit change (insert heart eyes here) this session had at all!
