Video Importing

Welcome to the Importing Page! Here, you'll find a comprehensive step-by-step guide to help you import your footage properly to our server. This guide is designed to ensure that your media is uploaded correctly and efficiently, minimizing any potential issues and optimizing your workflow. Whether you're new to the process or looking for a refresher, this guide will provide all the necessary instructions and tips to make your importing experience smooth and successful.

  • Remove all cards from cameras, lavs, drones, and main feed field recorders before starting.

  • Copy Lead Cameras Files to Main Camera Folder

    * Copy files from the main camera (camera with most clips) to the folder named "Cam A."

    * Watch this Loom video for a detailed walkthrough.

    5. Copy Additional Cards to Specific Camera Folders

    * Copy each additional card to its corresponding camera folder.

    * Ensure each card gets its own camera folder to avoid duplicate file name issues.

    * Watch this Loom video for instructions.

*Lead Shooter is responsible for importing their second videographers footage.

  • Copy Main Feed Audio to Main Feed Folder

    8. Copy Lav Audio to Specific Audio Folders

    * Copy lav audio to the appropriate specific audio folders (e.g., bride card reading audio goes into the bride card reading folder). Slating your lavs beforehand saves time.

    * Rename the audio files using the format: date_groom_bride_bestman_speech, etc.

  • Copy Drone Footage to Drone Folder

    Rename Files - DRONE_weddingdate_groom_bride_1, DRONE_weddingdate_groom_bride_2, etc.

Add Drone Footage to Drone Library

**Additionally, copy the drone footage to a secondary folder on the server corresponding to the venue. Create a folder inside the venue folder using the format: Date - Groom + Bride.
